Welcome to Our Practice
Learn what to expect, what to bring, and how to prepare for your consultation.
What to Expect
Your initial consultation is an important step in your care journey. Here's what will happen.
Check-In & Paperwork
When you arrive, our front desk staff will help you complete any necessary paperwork, verify your insurance, and collect your co-pay if applicable. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for this process.
Medical History Review
A member of our clinical team will review your medical history, current medications, allergies, and symptoms. This helps us understand your complete health picture.
Physical Examination
Your neurosurgeon will perform a comprehensive neurological examination, including assessment of strength, sensation, reflexes, coordination, and balance. This examination helps identify the source of your symptoms.
Imaging Review
If you've brought imaging studies (MRI, CT scans, X-rays), your neurosurgeon will review them with you, explaining what they show and how it relates to your symptoms.
Discussion & Treatment Planning
Your neurosurgeon will explain your diagnosis, discuss treatment options (including non-surgical and surgical approaches), answer your questions, and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
